Ilchester Hurricanes Under 13s all wearing Poppies Remembrance Sunday match

This past Remembrance Sunday, Ilchester Hurricanes U13s paid their respects to those who have served our country. Each player donned a poppy on their kit, a visible symbol of remembrance.

 

A Partnership for the Future

Roofbase, has sponsored the team's home and away kits, as well as training tops for the upcoming season. This partnership not only provides the team with essential equipment but also fosters a strong connection between the club and the community.

 

A Moment of Silence

Before the match kicked off, a minute's silence was observed to honor the fallen. This solemn moment underscored the importance of remembrance and respect.

 

On the Pitch

Despite the poignant occasion, the Hurricanes U13s didn't shy away from the football pitch. Currently mid-table in Division One of the Yeovil & District league, the team has secured two wins and two losses in their first four games. Their recent 6-2 victory showcased their determination and skill.
